Founder‘s day of A. Shama Rao Foundation and Srinivas Group of institutions was celebrated on 17th April 2021 morning at Srinivas College Auditorium, City campus, Pandeshwar, Mangaluru with a limited audience and live streaming online. Dr. CA A. Raghavendra Rao, Chancellor of Srinivas University presided over the programme. Allen C A Pereira, former Chairman of Bank of Maharashtra was the Chief Guest and delivered the Founders Day lecture. In this event, A Shama Rao Memorial Achievement Award 2021 was awarded to Sri Mahabaleshwara M S, Managing Director of Karnataka Bank Ltd. and A Shama Rao Memorial Outstanding Teacher award was conferred to Sri Harikrishna Dambe, Postgraduate teacher of Little Rock Indian School, Brahmavar Udupi.College of Physiotherapy along with its sister Institutions hosted the 3rd Annual Convocation of Srinivas University (Virtual mode) on the same day evening. The ceremony with a limited audience was conducted at Srinivas College Auditorium, City campus, Pandeshwar, Mangaluru following all the SOP of COVID-19. His Holiness Sri Sri Sri Sugunendra Teertha Swamiji of Puthige Matha, Udupi and Sri Acharya Dhanwant Singh, Founder Chancellor of Apex Professional University were conferred with the degree of Doctor of Letters (Honoris Causa) on this occasion. Also, our MPT batch of 2017 was conferred with the master of Physiotherapy degree on this occasion.
